Cookie policy
Cookie notice?
This cookie notice governs how IC Products SA (“ICP”, “we”, “our” or “us”) uses cookies and other digital technologies on the www.icproducts.eu website ( the “Site”).
What are Cookies?
Cookies are small (temporary) text files we transfer to your device that enable the collection of information from your device (“Cookies”). Please refer to our privacy notice for information about how we process personal data collected on our Site.
Why does ICP use Cookies?
ICP uses Cookies on the Site to operate the Site, measure website audience, provide social media functionality and to enable advertising and advertising targeting. We use the following categories of Cookies:
Strictly Necessary: These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work.
Analytical or Performance: Our analytics cookies are mainly placed by third parties, such as Google Analytics. Analytics cookies are placed on the basis of your consent, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us to understand which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. In addition, these cookies collect unique identifiers, such as the unique visitor ID assigned to your device when you visit our websites. Such unique identifiers cannot be read by third parties. However, analytical data collected through these cookies may be shared with third parties such as Google for the purpose of analysing website usage and optimising our content and advertising campaigns. By analysing your behaviour in response to our marketing statements and websites, we can better tailor our website and offers to your personal preferences. If you do not allow these cookies, we will not know when you have visited our site, and will not be able to monitor its performance. If you are using Google Chrome, you can also install the Google browser extension that provides an opt-out for Google Analytics cookies.
Functional: These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies then some or all of these services may not function properly.
How can I make choices about Cookies and my privacy?
On the Site you can set your preferences regarding Cookies. You can do this by clicking the Cookies icon on the Site. You can change your preferences at any time by disabling the use of functional and/or analytical/performance cookies and/or social media/advertising cookies here. Of course, we prefer that you consent to the use of these types of cookies so that we can provide you with an optimal website experience and to help ensure that you aren’t shown non-relevant advertisements.
When you withhold your consent, this does not automatically delete any cookies that are already on your device pursuant to your previous consent. You will need to delete these cookies manually by following the instructions on your web browser.
Please note you will lose some functionality on the Site if you do not consent to us using all of the Cookies categories.
What Cookies does ICP use?
First and Third party Cookies commonly used on this Site are listed in the table below. We strive to keep this list up to date and will update it. In any event, you can always manage all cookies and other tracking technologies used on this Site through our cookie preference tool located here, at the bottom of the website as a Cookie icon.
What other digital technologies does ICP use?
Social media pixels: We have implemented one or more social media pixels or other Java script enabled trackers on the Site (“social media pixel”). We currently use the following pixels: the Facebook pixel. Social media pixels are made available to us by the relevant social media platform. They enable us to identify you if you landed on the Site by clicking on an ad or a link that we published on the social media platform and identify to us which products you subsequently acquired from us. The tracker drops a cookie on your computer or mobile phone when it is first loaded by your browser or app. By means of the tracker, the social media platform and ICP collect your IP address (including associated location information), your user agent or browser string and specific information on how you interact with the Site. The user agent or browser string provides the basics as to which operating system your computer or mobile phone is running, basic security information, screen resolution and the Internet browser that you are using. If you wish to opt-out from the social media pixel please change your cookie preferences on our Site and withhold your consent for advertising cookies. When you do so, the social media platform will no longer receive your personal data through our Site. The social media platform will however retain historic data related to your cookie id. Any request related to such historic data will need to be directed to the relevant social media platform.
Google Analytics with Consent Mode: Google Analytics is an advanced platform for analysing website traffic and user behaviour. With Consent Mode, data collection is tailored to your privacy preferences, ensuring only the data for which you have given consent is processed.
How does GA4 with Consent Mode work?
- Consent-based data collection: When you provide consent, Google Analytics collects anonymised data about your use of our website, such as the pages you visit, time spent on the site, and interactions. If consent is not given, GA4 can still collect aggregated data without using cookies or personally identifiable information (PII), enabling basic measurement in compliance with privacy regulations.
- IP anonymisation: GA4 inherently anonymises IP addresses by default, ensuring your full IP address is neither logged nor stored.
- Purpose of processing: The collected data is used to generate reports on website usage and marketing campaigns. These reports help us improve the user experience, optimise our content, and enhance advertising efforts.
- Advertising features: We use GA4’s advertising features, including the User ID functionality, to unify sessions across devices for the same user (with consent). Anonymised demographic data (such as age, gender, and interests) is also used to better understand and target our audience. If consent is not provided, these features are disabled.
Your rights and control over GA4:
- You can withdraw your consent for Google Analytics at any time using our cookie consent tool.
- You may also disable Google Analytics entirely by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For more information about Google Analytics’ data privacy practices, visit the Google Analytics Help page or review Google’s privacy policy.
